Domi “at home” is a four-track ambient EP where soft synthesizer textures and Nordic nature field recordings merge into a calm, reflective listening experience. The release invites the listener to slow down, rest, and reconnect with a sense of inner home.

The title track Domi (At Home) blends gentle ambient tones with springtime forest sounds recorded in Yyteri, as nature awakens after winter. Sub Tecto Caeli (Under the Canopy of the Sky) draws from the forests of Ounasvaara, where woodpecker rhythms, pads and drone synths create a protective, meditative atmosphere. Fluxus Vitae (The Flow of Life) carries the listener into a world of flowing water and warm synth layers, while Refugium (Refuge) combines maritime soundscapes and soft pads, allowing the listener to float safely within the embrace of waves.

Domi was originally created for a prayer and meditation event held at Turku Cathedral during the Night of the Arts in August 2025. Thousands of visitors gathered to find calm beneath the cathedral vaults, stepping away from the surrounding city. The EP carries the quiet, spacious essence of that shared moment.

Domi “kotona” on neliosainen ambient-EP, jossa rauhalliset syntetisaattorimelodiat ja luontoäänimaisemat sulautuvat yhteen kutsuen kuuntelijan pysähtymään, hengähtämään ja etsimään polkuja sisäiseen rauhaan.

EP:n nimikappale Domi (kotona) yhdistää pehmeät syntetisaattorikerrokset Yyterin toukokuisen metsän ääniin, joissa luonto herää eloon pitkän talven jälkeen. Sub Tecto Caeli (taivaankannen alla) vie kuulijan Ounasvaaran metsään, jossa tikan rytminen naputus, padit ja dronet luovat meditatiivisen ja suojaavan tilan. Fluxus Vitae (elämän virta) kuljettaa veden solinan ja lämpimien sävelten maailmaan, kun taas Refugium (turvapaikka) sulauttaa merelliset äänet ja pehmeät soinnut turvalliseksi, keinuvaksi kokonaisuudeksi.

Domi syntyi alun perin elokuussa 2025 Turun Tuomiokirkossa järjestettyä Taiteiden Yön rukous- ja meditaatiotapahtumaa varten. Tapahtuma houkutteli tuhansia kävijöitä kirkon korkeiden holvien rauhaan keskellä kaupungin vilinää. EP kantaa mukanaan tuon hetken hiljaisuutta ja rauhoittavaa tilaa.

Linnunrata Productions is a WWF Partner in Conservation, reflecting a strong commitment to nature protection and sustainability. A significant portion of proceeds is donated to conservation efforts, aligning artistic work with long-term environmental responsibility.
