What atmosphere were you most focused on preserving throughout the album?
Throughout the album I was most focused on preserving a sense of quiet northern presence. An atmosphere where vast landscapes feel close and intimate at the same time, where stillness, flowing water and open space invite the listener to slow down, breathe deeper and feel gently held by the calm of the Nordic wilderness.
How did your relationship with sound change during the process?
During the process my relationship with sound became more attentive and patient. I learned to listen not only for what stands out, but for what quietly unfolds over time, allowing the sounds to exist as they are rather than shaping them, and trusting that their natural rhythm carries its own meaning.
What moment during the creation process stayed with you?
What stayed with me most was the simple act of stopping and listening. Those moments when everything else faded away and I stood still in the landscape, aware that nothing needed to be added or changed, only quietly received and preserved.

What kind of journey does the album invite the listener into?
The album invites the listener into a slow and restorative journey shaped by water and stillness. It is a passage inward, where flowing sounds guide the mind toward calm reflection, gentle release and a sense of quiet renewal, as if drifting effortlessly and allowing the soul to rest and be restored along the way.
What was the guiding idea or feeling behind this album as a whole?
The guiding feeling behind the album was the quiet healing presence of water. A desire to create a space where sound flows gently, allowing the listener to slow down, release what feels heavy and experience a sense of cleansing calm, as if being carried by water toward rest and renewal.
What state of mind do you hope the listener enters while listening?
I hope the listener enters a state of gentle stillness and openness. A calm, unhurried space where thoughts soften, the body can rest, and attention drifts naturally toward the present moment, allowing a sense of ease, clarity and quiet renewal to unfold.

What does this album reveal about your connection to nature?
This album reveals that my connection to nature is rooted in listening in addition to observation. It is a relationship built on presence and trust, where nature is not something to frame or control, but something to be with. Through these sounds, nature becomes a quiet companion that restores balance, offers clarity, and reminds me to slow down and return to what feels essential and alive.
How does being present in these environments shape your inner world?
Being present in these environments softens my inner world and brings it back into balance. The noise of thought gradually quiets, replaced by a deeper sense of clarity and calm, where attention turns inward and feels gently aligned with the natural rhythms around me.
What part of that connection do you hope listeners can feel?
I hope listeners can feel the sense of being gently welcomed by nature. A quiet connection where nothing is demanded, only presence, allowing the sounds to offer calm, grounding and a reminder that we belong to these landscapes as much as they belong to us.
